I got a damn twitter account, don’t for the life of me know why I did I hate these stupid things but I did. I’ve even twittered it only took two days of having it for me to finally tweet something grrr I hate these terms tweet, twittering feels lame.

I am so gonna twitter all the time I can just tell. A new addiction here I come.

Me on twitter

May I draw you attention to penis hats, yes penis hats you did not read wrong.

As found over at Buzz On Vibes

Happenis for all your happy penis needs.

I don’t even know what to say about this other than it got my attention and I had to blog about it.

I mean what is cooler than telling everyone about hats for your penis you know assuming you have a penis. I wonder if my vibes would like a little top hat or maybe one of those elaborate head dress things show girls wear.

Holy shit I just looked more closely and they have a viking helmet that’s totally on my birthday wish list. I may not get one myself but I just found another reason to get a guy in my life, so I can get his penis a viking helmet.

Now that is some awesomeness.

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)

I’m reading Horns by Joe Hill which I’m loving a ton. It’s my first book by him and totally crazy about the fact that I have a new fav author. Really good and there are so many teaser options I could use grrrr so hard to pick which one to go with.
So I’m going to be bad and offer up a few of them. Pretty much the last paragraph of each chapter has that zing to it that just makes you go damn I can’t believe that just happened or that character just said that.

From page 10

Ig opened the door and slid himself out. As he closed the door behind him, she was lowering her face again … a diver who was filling her lungs with air and was plunging into the depths.

From page 16

“I hate mommy,” she told Ig. “I want to burn her in her bed with matches. I want to burn her all up gone.

From page 19

“Please,” Ig said. “I’m asking for your medical opinion — your help. What do I do?”
“Fucking patients.” the doctor said. “All any of you care about is yourselves.”

From page 27

Posoda was turned sideways in the seat so he was facing his partner and was looking at the other man with a mix of yearning and greed. As Ig pulled away, Posoda licked his lips, then lowered his head, ducking under the dash and out of sight

From page 50

His father started, for a moment couldn’t reply. Then he said, “No. Not really. tell the truth, I was surprised you didn’t do something to her sooner. I always thought you were a weird little shit”

So yeah way too hard to pick which of these should have been the one and only one picked so I just went with all my favorites.

I loved this book. It totally lives up to the hype which I have touched on previously.

Lisbeth is an awesome character so bad ass. Blomkvist is a character who has all kinds of issues which come to light quite early on in the book. The Vanger family are a big giant pot of insanity that has been stirred a few hundred times too many.

There you have it most of the characters that will suck you in to the riddle tied in a conundrum encased in an enigma.

A fabulous mystery and crime story. Blomkvist is a journalist with jail time in his future. Lisbeth a hacker with a guardian who really must be dealt with. In time their paths cross in an attempt to solve a maddening mystery. Find a killer, get some justice for themselves and others all while trying not to get killed.

Brilliantly done I was so glad to have read this and only wish that I had read it sooner. Though I have all three of Larsson’s books now so I will read the other two very soon. Some library books must be dealt with first.

It fills me with sadness knowing that Larsson will no longer be able to write more for us but oh what genius he leaves behind. The novel is filled with violence against woman something that really he clearly has a problem with as does anyone with a continence. How one person can hurt another I cannot fathom but it happens all the time all a person has to do is watch the news or pick up the newspaper.

A brilliant legacy Larsson has left. I would recommend this to all. If you want a true quality read this should be a must add to your bookshelf.

In my mailbox is hosted by The Story Siren.

First sorry for the crappy pics but my camera died and the camera in my phone is shit.

The Darlings Are Forever by Melissa Kantor arrived in my mailbox Saturday. I was out and got home super tired to find this little surprise waiting for me. It said Disney publishing on the outside and couldn’t figure out what they could have sent me. Once I opened the package I found a lovely copy inside which I then remembered winning at

The Paris Wife by Paula McLain I won at it arrived a couple days ago. Curious about this one.

These two I picked up from the library for sale shelf. Not bad for $1 I think.

Asimovs’ Foundation trilogy is one I have not read and have been wanting to, I found this on Amazon it has I, Robot as well as a couple others. Could not pass up.
The Healing Code I won at
Beautiful Creatures and The Body Finder I purchased as I found these online at super cheap and I’ve won the second in the series for both of these but not having the first was seriously annoying. Not a problem any longer.

All four arrived in one day. It was a very good day then but all these are from this last week so I think I’ve done very well lately.
Determined to read books off my shelf which I am doing now but I have also picked up some books from the library. So the plan is to finish The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo then my library books then back to Stieg Larssons other two.
