I’m going to cover once why and you all can decide for your selves just as I have, if you’re sticking with her okay your biz I’m not.
The biggest beef I have is if you are the what can be considered the biggest book blogger you do not need to worry about content. If you are bored, lazy, can’t think of what to blog about you email any any author and ask them to guest post, interview whatever and they will jump at it. Why? Because you’re the biggest freaking book blogger! Therefor you don’t need to go the dirty route for content. The fact that she did bugs the shit out of me.
Second the so called apology. It should have said I’m sorry for what I did and yes I did it. I was wrong and all those who are beating up my victims should shut up and back off it’s my fault I’m wrong do not treat them worse than they already have. Did she do that? No. She was concerned about how she looks in front of authors and publishers. Well I sure as shit hope they all drop her ass.
I’m not saying what others should do but a lot of people who are peeved at Kristi are getting beaten up for not still following her, which is annoying to me. I think it’s stupid but again we can all make up our minds which is the main point. Seriously can’t we all have our opinions without tweeting, emailing or commenting rude mean things to each other. For real chillax.
I’m not following her on FB, email and twitter anymore. If you do okay but I will no longer do IMM it’s Monday Mailbox from now on. So check in on Mondays for book goodies.

Hey I do love your post too! its cool, hmm maybe I wont be doing the IMM thing anymore, maybe. I felt sorry for the victims who get hate emails though. I dont wana get involved with this but damn this is not so right. What thestorysiren did was so wrong and should not have an excuse whatsoever.

Since Jessica is famous for leaving BAM responses on my blog (love you Bunneh) you know how I feel.
You cannot “accidentally” plagiarize the way she with multiple posts (4 with one girl fr Jessica’s links above) It would be like Lizzie Borden holding the ax smiling..dripping with blood and saying “oops! The ax slipped … Over 40 times! Sorry” and skipping merrily to take out the next parental unit ..oops have the ax slip!!
She did not apologize. She spun it. She lies. She was caught. She further victimized her victims by having her acolytes delete posts and comments and help take care of things while she was at work (I had a discussion with her top minion. She basically admired that without doing it.) Politicians and the military call it plausible deniability. For her that shows She new what she did and has been doing.
In high school she would be flunked, the class, and automatically suspended (we expell you up here). In college well you’ll start paying for those loans abut sooner than expected out of your bar tips or having your McD check harassed. In real life, in corporate America your fires, possibibly criminally charge depending on content but usually fires and you again will be paying your rent after going through foreclosure fro

I only heard about this shitstorm *after* I’d already posted my IMM entry on Sunday. I felt like kind of a dumbass for it, but it makes sense in retrospect why there were only 35 entries when I signed up. Oh well. Guess I’m going to Mailbox Mondays too. Though, I really wish it had a different name. All the “[noun] [day of the week]” memes annoy the crap out of me.
On a different note–why yes, I do participate in blog tours. Thank you for asking. Please send my info to the publisher–or give me the publisher’s info and I’ll get in conact with them. The only question I have is, how am I going to pay you back? Links on my blog don’t count as legal tender, do they?

I agree with so much of what you’ve said. It’s such a shame and such a pointless thing to do. And really I wish the apologies had been much better.
When I first started blogging, I ended up doing Highlights from the Book Horde for library books and random finds because I’d been following some Fantasy/SF blogs that did posts about the books they recieved on a semi-regular basis. None of them were involved in memes so it wasn’t until I started following more YA blogs that I ran into IMM. By then I was already a few other ones for wishlists and Teaser Tuesdays (which I keep forgetting about) and Friday Hops so I stuck with my own title/thing.
