Teaser Tuesday

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

* Grab your current read
* Open to a random page
* Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page

* BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)

Okay so I suck I’m still reading Double Dead by Chuck Wendig it’s a great book but I have a lot going on and I’m still reading it. Okay enough with the excuses and on to the teaser.

With a sharp twist of pain, the bones shifted suddenly, clacking together -and before her eyes, they began to merge: osseous crystals growing like coral until becoming one. Around the kintting bone, clumps of flesh rolled and stretched. Blisters rose and popped. Pus splattered against asphalt.

  3. The cover looks intense and the descriptive passage even more so…. ‘clacking bones’ gives me a feeling similar to finger nails on a chalkboard. It’s turning my stomach a little but I’m really glad you are enjoying the novel ;)

  4. Now there’s no doubt about what happened! I can visualize it completely….
