I have a giveaway for a print and ebook version of Savage : Daughters of the Jaguar by Willow Rose
Willow will be shipping it herself and has kindly agreed to make it international. You can enter whichever you prefer ebook or print copy or enter both. They are both open to everyone everywhere.

The year is 1983. Christian is 22 years old when he leaves his home in Denmark to spend a year in Florida with a very wealthy family and go to med-school. A joyful night out with friends is shattered by an encounter with a savage predator that changes his life forever. Soon he faces challenges he had never expected. A supernatural gift he has no idea how to embrace. A haunting family in the house next door. A spirit-filled girl who seems to carry all the answers. An ancient secret hidden in the swamps of Florida. One life never the same. One love that becomes an obsession. Two destinies that will be forever entangled.

Please tell me about yourself -

I am 35 years old, a mother of two young girls and a stepmother of a grown boy and girl. I am currently living in Florida with my family. Originally I am from Denmark but three years ago we chose to leave the cold and move to the sunshine state where every day is a potential beach-day and where winter-boots are something you wear with your shorts when they bring in artificial snow in December for the kids to play in. I am a journalist and have written several books in Danish before I started writing in English. My Danish books are published in Denmark, Germany and Norway.

What is your writing space and routine like? -
Whenever the kids are off to school I sit down and begin to write until they come back home. I listen to James Blunt while i write. I can’t explain why. I never listen to him otherwise. It is just something about the intensity of his songs that makes me want to write.

What are you reading now? -
I am re-reading “The vampire Lestat” written by my favorite author Anne Rice. I love those stories she wrote back then.

What are some favorite books? Favorite authors? –
I read anything Anne Rice and Isabel Allende has ever written.

The cover for Savage is lovely who did it? -
My husband as a matter of fact. He is really good at those things. He works in television and used to be the head of the graphics department of a national TV-station back when we still lived in Denmark.

Your character moves from Denmark to Florida was this the only personal aspect you included in the story? - It is actually inspired by my husbands story. When he was 19 he was shipped off to Florida by his parents to live with a very wealthy family over here. That changed his life and formed him into the man he is today. The rest of the story isn’t his, though, that’s just my imagination.

What was the inspiration behind Savage? –
A lot of different aspects. First of all my husband’s story but also my daughters. I have two young ones and one grown-up stepdaughter. I have actually dedicated the book to all of them. Because they are so beautifully innocent and magical. Just like the women in this book.

Can you tell me about your other books please -
I have written three mystery-novels in Danish that are published in Denmark, Norway and Germany under my maiden name. Furthermore I have written six books in English under the name Willow Rose.

What new books are coming next? –
I am currently writing the sequel to Savage that I hope to have out in the fall. I am planning on writing three in total about Christian and Aiyana the love of his life. In the first book they are in their twenties, in the second in their thirties and in the last one they will have grown kids. It is sort of a family saga and I have fallen completely in love with the characters and their stories. I am also planning on writing a book about Aiyana and her childhood and maybe one about her sister too. I think they are all so wonderful that they each deserve their own book.
