Sunday Shorts

Sunday Shorts is a new meme started by the CabinGoddess.com. The rules are easy, a short story, an anthology of short stories, a novella, or a quick weekend read that is also short on your wallet!

I continue my love of bizarro this week with a bizarro author who I simply must read and who’s books I have sitting on my kindle waiting for me. Anderson Prunty is well known in the bizarro and horror genre. The book I’m sharing today is free on kindle right now so you can get a copy should it sound appealing. It’s also horror not bizarro so those who bizarro doesn’t appeal to quite like it does me fear not. Bizarro authors often write multiple genre.

Bury The Children In The Yard by Anderson Prunty is one that I personally am looking forward to reading. I’ve heard great things about it and the authors other works.

This volume features: “The Library of Trespass”, “Music from the Slaughterhouse”, “A Butterfly in Ice”, “The Spot”, “Laundrymen”, “The Warm House”, and the novella “Bury the Children in the Yard.”
