I have been in a reading funk which bums me out as the books I’ve been reading have been great I’ve really enjoyed them it’s just that I can’t get lost in them and they take me ages to get through all due to stupid personal crap which I’ll write about in a couple months. Lakebridge Spring the first book in the series was great but after taking me far longer than the couple – three days it would normally have I sat myself down and said self you need to stop this and read, good books await. So glad I did as I love, love, love the second in the series Lakebridge Summer. Still slower than normal but much improved on the reading time. It is a great read and the review for Spring I am hoping to have up this week. Be sure to check out this fantastic series it is seriously amazing.

 

 

 

She opened the door and walked through the glass hallway that separated the dome from the house. She imagined it deep in winter, it would be amazing to stand in here and stare out at all the white and be part of it. Standing knee deep in the snow and not feeling the chill. And it was so quiet, like all the sound had been removed from the world.
