Summer Giveaway Hop

Welcome to another hop. Hosted by the awesome Kathy at I Am A Reader, Not A Writer and Mary from BookHounds

Please enjoy the giveaway, lot’s of easy entries and two winners as I have two books to give away. The first The Absent One I received somehow two copies of so that mix up will snag someone a great read. The second Randumber a comedy tale based on a real Irish guy trying to make it in LA. I’m sure someone will enjoy Marks adventures.

In The Keeper of Lost Causes, Jussi Adler-Olsen introduced Detective Carl Mørck, a deeply flawed, brilliant detective newly assigned to run Department Q, the home of Copenhagen’s coldest cases. The result wasn’t what Mørck—or readers—expected, but by the opening of Adler-Olsen’s shocking, fast-paced follow-up, Mørck is satisfied with the notion of picking up long-cold leads. So he’s naturally intrigued when a closed case lands on his desk: A brother and sister were brutally murdered two decades earlier, and one of the suspects—part of a group of privileged boarding-school students—confessed and was convicted.

But once Mørck reopens the files, it becomes clear that all is not what it seems. Looking into the supposedly solved case leads him to Kimmie, a woman living on the streets, stealing to survive. Kimmie has mastered evading the police, but now they aren’t the only ones looking for her. Because Kimmie has secrets that certain influential individuals would kill to keep buried . . . as well as one of her own that could turn everything on its head.

From Beverly Hills mansions to Irish country lanes, super-yachts to side-alleys, howling cougars to psychotic nutters, stand-up spotlights to police helicopter searchlights, superstar highs to inner demon woes, along with so much more, Mark Hayes takes us on quite an adventure in RanDumb-er, the random but hardly dumb tales of an Irish chancer.

From one side of the world to the other, in and out of the fantasy of Mark’s reality, all with a smile and a belly-aching laugh, RanDumb-er will draw you in and make you believe in the spirit of your inner five year old once more!

So enter away, two winners, one book each and US only please. I’ll be mailing myself but I will have an international giveaway coming soon as part of a hop so look for that soon.
